yes, for the m3. you can find out more about the mirrors here:
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67360

as far as i know, no one has tried to retrofit the guts of a euro m3 mirror into the stock u.s. housings; that's what i'm going to try to do this week.

Well, Jordan's Furniture seems to be the location people keep on mentioning. I know that the last meet was close to that location. I need a new sofa as well, and it'd be perfect for me to stop by earlier and browse :D .

Anywhere is fine with me though, as long as it's not too far away from the hub. We can even shoot down the pike afterwards towards Boston and get a bite to eat.

By the way meem , why was your car MIA for a while?

don't get too excited yet ... car's back in the shop; seems there's something wrong with the driver's side control arm (surely related to the accident). anyway, they think it will only take a couple hours to fix once they have the parts, so i'm still hopeful that sunday will work out for me. stay tuned :eeps:

Can we get a confirmation going as to who's OK with this?

I'd even say that between 1 to 2pm is perfect. Even if people have to leave for a 4pm thingy, they'll be able to hang for about an hour or so.

Wow, looks like my kinda place, but their stuff seems pricey, a roll bar like theirs from Autopower can be had for around $400 shipped.

Speaking of which... anyone here auto-crosses?

Hey.. I autocross as well. Wust I've seen you there at Devens with your steel blue e46. Looks nice. I've also seen you in Brighton :) Kinda funny how we recognize each other by our rides.

Anyways.. about the wear bars. The more worn your tire, (not bald) the better your car will respond and handle. If you have a relatively new tire with a lot of tread, you may have a bigger flex response in your tire slowing you down. People there race with slicks too.

umm, you want to get a better deal on a brand new euro mirror than on a used u.s. mirror? nice try there chip ;)

seriously though, i gotta think about the whole thing, since as it stands i can return one of the euro mirrors i bought for a full refund.

exit 20, if memory serves. you'll want route 9 west of course. alternatively, you can take the exit for the mass pike and then take the natick exit off of the mass pike, which is usually quicker but a bit more complicated.

anyway, seeya there tomorrow!

I live in Waltham, it takes about 20 minutes from my house, door to door. I'm one exit from the Pike, exit 26 off of 95/128. I can have pizza or something ready and for those that need to wash their car, I got hose/supplies if you come early enough :)

Great turnout guys :D ! It was nice to finally see you all and put a face on all your handles. I'm working on the pics I took that day. I'll post them when I get the time this week.

For those of you that missed the cruisin' at the end of the meet, those pics will be up soon as well.

If anyone is interested in a similar drive, let's get one together. Doesn't have to be hours long. A simple rip through beantown :) .

Peace....... (Leonard)

Hey, nice meeting you all.... very nice rides, I'm definetly envious... can't wait to get another E46 myself (unless I find something I like better, doubt it). :)
I had a party to go, so I had to skip out early.
