    Everyone in Montreal is obliged to know English and French.
    You cant get a cashier job without it.
    I'm guessing that's what your talking about, Just talk english and they will talk English back.
    All the schools in Quebec teach English.

    Also about pricing, Its a City of College students, University students, rich people & Tourists.
    Cant expect prices to be low. Gotta go to middle class districts. Or The City of Laval, Where the Second biggest shopping mall in Canada is. its Montreals biggest subborb
