My box is ported, but i get much better bass when its sealed, to connects RCA's to a factory unit, you need some sort of converter from High input to low output, so you have you possitive negative speacker cables to the converter and from the converter you have your RCA's to the amp.
ill just go with the new sounds option ;)

Get a ported box, i had a sealed box in my boot for a bit, and it was pretty crap, once i go the ported sub box its pree good.

I changed the factory head unit, but i got a flip out screen lol, plus i dont knwo how to hook up RCAs with a factory unit. So i went n got a new unit.

yeh man, thats the ski pass, i guess so u can put something overly long in your boot....or for us make bass flow through better! It makes a difference man! Just need a tough fist or a hammer, does the job! Good luck man! let me know how it goes

lol, idk why man, but it wont pop up when u wright something on my wall!... but anyway, yes, you do notice a difference, If you have one sub, you could mount it so it goes through the hole. I allways siad if i had one sub, id mount it in the rear arm rest ;)

see in the rear seat, how the center goes down, thinking of oprning the wall behind it, im only allows one passenger anyway + can carry anyone in the back coz my tyres rub :P down sizing to 245 tmrw :(
but yeah back to the hole, at least the bass has somewhere to go, not all stuck in the boot, know what i mean?
