Hi. I'm toying with a differential upgrade in my 3.0L 325xi and thought you might have some ideas, given your diff website and all. My car is running the stock 325xi gears (3.23s). I have a friend involved in the WRX community and those cars have LSDs in back with open diffs up front. It got me thinking about an LSD out back for my car. The E36 M3 (lsd) had 3.23s available. Can I fit an E36 M3 rear diff housing into the E46? What if I found just the differential from an E46 M3... will it fit in my diff housing? will my ring gear fit?
