ahh I thought so. lol saw a few pics of your beauty in the facelift thread and thought it was the same hood just painted. Looks great! And ok, I see what you mean. I'm actually picking up my M3 hood shocks tomorrow. So is it easy to attach them and to un-attach them?
thanks man. actually i still have the cf hood. i just painted it. i did switch to m3 hood shocks, but currently i only use it if i have it in for service or i'm working on it. i don't leave it attached to the car/hood. it warps the hood if you leave it in there. you should pick up the m3 hood shocks anyways just for times when you need to bring it in for service.
Hey bud, I know at least a while back you had a Carbon Fiber hood on your facelift. What did you do hood shock-wise? Leave the OEM ones, switch to M3 hood shocks, or use none? Mine arrives tomorrow and will be installing over the weekend. Thanks in Advance! Love your car! lol
