crazy story... The foot well wire,,, it was barely sitting on the metal firewall, which caused a short---- :facepalm: either way I re-wired everything and hooked up the foot well light and done-worked perfect lol. -Doug
Did you end up figuring out the issue with the wiring harness on your halo's? I saw the closed post and the very first thing I noticed was the green fuse which normally indicates a 30amp ATC fuse. With your halo's personally i would have used a 5A or 3A fuse depending on the draw. The wires used look to be a 14ga or 16ga diameter by the picture which cannot handle 30A. If your wire was anything smaller than high quality stranded copper 12gauge you can melt the wire before the fuse blows;causing what happened under your hood.
I hope everything got fixed and didn't cause too much of a headache!
