Hi. I'm so sorry to bother you. Please could you help me out. I am stuck. I need to code out my park bulb error after installing after market angel eye rings and I have no idea how to do it? I am unfortunately in South Africa. If you could explain to me what I need to do I would be over the moon. I have a coder etc but I don't want to damage my car by changing things on the coder. Is there a specific file I need to access? I have a 2003 BMW E46 318ti compact. Any help to a guide or explanation would be awesome. I am asking you as I saw a post you said you know how to do it.
Just got the car back from the BMW Specialist. BC working!!!! Apparently it was very easy to do with the Progman console which is what they use now to code cars instead of the GT1. Didn't give me exact details of the steps but essentially what he did was go into the options for the indicator stalk for the E46 and "tell it" ie enable the BC Function. After that it worked pretty much straight away. He was also able to code a few other things such as indicators going on when you lock the car and the autolock function when the car moves off. So there you go. BC retrofit possible!
