    Hey latitude39,

I finally got under the can and fixed my problem. I posted the details in my thread but long story short, the guibo was starting to come apart, some chunks missing, cracking and a light amount of threads sticking out. However the CSB was totally shot and the drive shaft just bounced around in the housing. When I grabbed the drive shaft and moved it I could hear the same sound as the rumbling noise so I would say it was more the CSB causing the sound over the guibo. But since you are in there, might as well do both. That is what I bought both parts after I confirmed it was definitely the guibo coming apart. (you can see that easy without removing the heat shields.

No not yet and it still bothers me. I have been so busy doing other things but it is one thing that I need to fix. When I do I will update the thread. I need to fix my truck a/c this weekend but if I have a chance I will get under the car and see what I can see. People are leaning it is the guibo and/or the center bearing and mount. I'm still not totally convinced but the vibration does seem to make sense from those areas. I looked into getting all the parts for both jobs and looking at about $150. I hope I can see these two parts without having to drop the heat shield which means I have to drop the exhaust. I know for the repair I will need to do this, but don't want to have to do this twice just for me to order the parts.

    Hey Phoenix,
Did you ever solve the "Rumble at High RPM..." which was described in the thread you started?
