    Hello Mike,

Sorry for the delay in the reply. The component set that I listed does not come with the mids. (The one between the tweeter and the mid-bass.) The way the speakers are engineered, there is no need for the mids. I kept mine connected in the door, but they are not connected to my aftermarket amp. To recap, it comes with the tweeter (which I must say works surprisingly well in the factory location), and the Mid-Bass (The large one). I did not use the factory headunit, but there are speaker level inputs for all four channels on the Basslink, so I imagine you would just run the speaker level wires from the basslink to the mid-bass outputs in the factory amp harness (On the amplified side) and tie into the harness there.

Again, sorry for the delay! -Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for posting on my e46 speaker upgrade post. I like the speakers you posted and had a couple questions.

    1) for the front component, the package on amazon, does that include the in-door tweeter/mid-range, as well as the mid-bass lower down?
    2) did you need to do any wiring / how do you install the subwoofer to the factory head unit?

    Thanks!
