Oh, baby, beige, heated, memory, better condition than my old ones, and the airbag code is off now! (Forgot to disconnect the battery at some point).

I usually don't read threads either, Albz, which is why I have to write so much to appear helpful. Surprising no one has caught on yet!

So, word on the streets is you haz heated seats? Are they sport seats? Either way, congrats! Sorry, I didn't read the thread-I usually don't read threads, but I sure like responding to them!

Nice! Thank you The Don! I actually have my seat back from my 'broken' seat, and the heater and lumbar are in that...and I have the switches from my seat too, so someday...in spring/summer some year, I'll swap backs and the switch assembly...and remember to have my battery disconnected! I know I paused at a point about that, but ignored the warning signs! I had to reconnect the seat to lift it up, to swap my connector to the new seat, since the seat tensioner assembly is permanently attached to it...didn't want to do wiring...anyway, seat in, powered up temporarily for the routing...and that's when it happened!

I did search and yes, I need to get it reset. I'll read that diy...maybe it's easier than swapping backs like I'd been thinking of.

    Thanks!

Congrats on your heated seats! If you have the airbag light on from swapping the seats without disconnecting the battery, then you will need to get the light reset. I am not sure that just unhooking the battery will do this.

Also, here is a DIY link outlining the steps for retrofitting the lumbar support when you decide to do this. I actually did this last year, and the process is pretty much painless (aside from fine cuts that he seat metal did on my hands ) http://www.tmk.com/lumbar/index.shtml

There are a number I've been wondering about. I hope I haven't frightened them off! Many leave for the more temperate climes of bimmerforums, I think. I also think that some of them, after reading the wrong OT post, just leave society in general! No idea about Chas! Nor GN for that matter!

No...order from dealer or find pn from realoem.

Also, you should PM me, not write a message here, I don't think. Don't know for sure; I don't converse here much!

Oh, btw, stuff like this is for General forum. Don't depend on me knowing everything...I don't!

    Hey Drew!

I've heard the name, but stop finding bands to listen to ever since The Talking Heads...except maybe the Redhot Chili Peppers. Link to good hanson song?
