Brief question... there was a guy on this forum about a year ago, maybe longer. He had an E46 that he taped with blue tape and he had a trashy girlfriend that worked at Hooter's. Trying to jog your memory..lol..

Anyhow, he used to live in the Dallas area (Denton ?) and worked at an independent garage for BMW's and other high end cars.

I need to replace my head gasket. That is over my head if I have to get the head reground etc. The dealer quoted me 3770, minimum. I want to check with some indy shops and see what they would charge. There are several around here but I want someone who is familiar with BMW and head gaskets.

I can't remember the name of the guy, but his gf also had an account the same as his but it was called like jonjonish's gf............

Do you remember who it was ? I figured he could tell me if his old shop can do the job or at least point me in the right direction of someone who can.

I had the guys at Chester Springs Lexus re-do mine, they did a great job and it was very reasonable...right around 200 for removal and new 3M tint
