    Hey Technic,

I started this thread http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?p=15486365#post15486365 looking for help in establishing the parts needed to install an Avic z120bt into a 2005 M3 with the standard navi and HK sound system on it. Someone suggested that you may be able to help me with determining which wiring harness I need in order to make it work.

Like I said in the thread, I have no problem taking my time and doing the work, I have the HU with the XM module I just need to get the wiring right and thus determine which harness I need and if there is anything else needed to tie into the speaker system. Is there any insight that you could provide me with? Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Technic:

I'm beginning my research on installing an aftermarket amp and speakers with the OEM head unit. I may try the install myself, although I'm definitely a newbie to this much work.

I've seen mention of your wiring harness for the E46. Are you still offering this? I'm assuming that this connects between the factory wiring in the vehicle and an aftermarket amp? Would this save me a lot of time for the system I'm thinking of installing?

    Appreciate your support.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Good day, sir.
I saw a post of your offer for an e46 amp adapter for $75 bills. Do you have any left? I don't know jack about car audio, but I have an '06 M3 vert with the front driver's side speakers not working. I was told it's the amp and I need to replace it. If I'm going to spend money on an amp, it seems silly to buy the HK amp again which isn't that great. I'm being told by a bunch of car stereo installers that replacing it with a better amp is very difficult and not worth the effort because I'd have to redo the whole car and that I should jus buy the OEM HK vert amp used. Will your adapter allow me to use an aftermarket amp in place of the busted HK I have now? If so can you recommend a pretty good amp in the $250 price range? Will there be any functionality lost if I go with a different amp? Sorry for being so uneducated, there is so much contradictory info out there.
