    Dear Royalratch,
Firstly, I am very thank you for your DIY Heated Seat Posts. You have done a great write up to share with other buddies that you have got in your brilliant brain.Secondly, I would like to ask a few confusing question that I have at the moment. I have a headache with them during this week, coz I can not figure it out which wires are ground, hot, temperature, heating on. I have purchased aftermaket heating element on this website: http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/heatelcarsea.html . I thought that the wirring harness would be match to OEM BMW Wires in order, however the wiring I have received are a bit complicated. I will take some photoes to show you and please take your time to check them out which wire I should connect to OEM BMW Wirre. If it is possible please send me your drawing diagram wirring harness reply on my stuffs. I understand how to run wires from fuse box to console centre and from console centre to Plug X279 and Plug X275 so far.
On the other hand, I do not know how and where I connect the wire from heating elemet to, moreover which wire should be connected to the seat or Plug X***, because I can not buy any secondhand heated seats anywhere even I have tried to buy second hand OEM heating elements. could you please please please draw a picture or some arrows to run those wires. I will be very very appreciated.
Finally, there are some pictures of my heating element and wirring diagram from manufacture. Please could you help me to work it out as winter is coming, I would like to finish asap to warm up me and my girlfriend in the snow. Please click on the link below to browse my photos as I do not know how to upload image into this PM.
