Sorry for being so intrusive but this is really bugging me....I posted this in DIY (sorry for the spelling lol)...any thoughts?

Hello all....I am new to all this but have been lurking here for awhile lol. I have an old 90 325 which I love (winter car)

I recently bought for my daughter a 2001 330ci. Topaz blue (she said it matched her eyes lol).

Anywya I tackled a couple of things on the weekend. Replaced the Valve Cover Gasket with a new one using a DIY on Youtube. Awesome and it seems to work.

My second project was to fix the BC stalk. There was a posting somewhere about a boken wire leading form the bc button. I took steering wheel off and eventually the stalk. I was able to get it apart and solder the wires together. Now the OBC works great. All functions appear ok but no turn signals The Hazards work but when I use the push the stalk down for a left turn or up for a right turn nothing happens (no click no light) The stalk stays in the correct position until you hvae completed your turn and then returns to the middle as per usual. The headlight high beams and flashers work appropriately.

Any ideas? Is it a relay? Is it the switch in the stalk?

And now I have to get my ABS light reset since I took out the abs...Dang!!

    Thanking you in advance!!

Hey, I just remembered you said I can do software and get some more power..What exactly did you mean by software? Do you do custom tunes or were you refering to the AA/Shark/Dinan tune?

i need some help finding an electric radiator fan for my 2001 325xi sedan made 11/2000. manual tranny with auto ac controls. e46 ,m54.

There is only one fan on my car. And it is located on the back side of the radiator. So it sits between the radiator and the engine.
At realoem.com ,in the radiator section under " fan shroud "they show part number 17 11 7 561 757.
    Under "cooling unit" the motor and shroud is part number 17 11 7 505 663.....or.... 17 11 7 505 661

The fan motor on my car which has blown two 50 am fuses . And had a lot of smoke curling out of it the last time .I can spin the fan manually .It is a Siemens motor
here are some numbers off of the motor itself. [6 909 896] A0.279.22.36.44] [162-65002-08] Siemens Canada.

I have seen some comments in places that say the motor may not be bad, it might be the controller. My motor plug has three wires. two large and one thin. And my motor and fan shroud does not have a silver or black controller mounted on it like i see on most fans i have been looking at. Is my controller built into the motor or do i not have one?
. And i wouldn't mind an aftermarket unit. I may not be keeping the car long and i don't want to spend 534.00 at the dealership.
THANKS...I see you are local. please give me a call at 763-551-1521 tim
