    Dennis,

All is well with the M3! I got the clutch replaced by a mechanic i work with, so i saved a pile of money and he did some extra stuff and didnt charge me for it.

    Some things we did...

    -engine oil/filter castrol 10/60
    -Synchromax in the tranny
    -flush/add brake fluid
    -remove cdv valve
    -installed new LUK rep set
    -installed new LUK DMS flywheel
    -new bolts
    -new Pilot bearing
    -new throw out bearing
    -new exhaust gaskets and bolts

That about rounds out the list!

Car feels alot better without the cdv. Much more direct pedel feel. No delay in the clutch pedel. I have a bout 1500km on the new clutch and it feels really good!

The main cause of the clutch you might ask? When my friend drove it he launched it hard. When he shifted from first to second, he didnt fully disengauge the clutch and spun it pretty bad. It tore one whole side of the organic surfacing on the clutch plate right off! He over heated the rivets that hold the surfacing on the clutch plate whick made them week and it pulled off and broke into peices.

The flywheel was also heat soaked and spotted. Even if it wasnt, i was going to replace it.

So a bit of a kick in the nuts for sure, but it is fixed.

Hope all is good dennis, and keep in touch! Theres talk about a duffy lake drive in august... :D
