Hi Romen,

I will be in the market for a M3 and, when the time comes, will supercharge through ESS. I like your kits, your philosophy and your customer service.

I live in Boston, MA, so every year I have to pass an RMV inspection. I know your kits are smog-legal, but they will not pass visual inspection, so my only alternative is uninstalling, passing inspection and then reinstalling.

Are there any threads you know of here or in other BMW forums that describe the procedure?

From comment you've made over time, I understand the uninstall does not have to be complete so it takes less time than the original install. Does this mean that I do not need a reflash? That simply unbolting the supercharger won't affect anything? I suppose the fuel maps are very different when there's a supercharger present, so I don't know how the car would deal with not having a supercharger when it thinks it's on.

Please let me know what you think of this.
