    Yeah my car did not come with navigation from the factory and I believe at the time I upgraded my hvac I also had the monitor and everything already out. So it was simply swapping in the new unit. I believe one of my videos on youtube 'may' show me doing this. But I'm not sure since it is going on 2+ years since I last did this.


    yeah it seems the navigation monitor or radio above has to be removed first.

    Oh I didn't realize you had navigation. Remove the navigation first and push it out from the top.

    I think it's pretty clean since I've had it for most of it's life, but also there is no way to get behind it on our cars with nav. Seems easy for the guys with sunglasses holders, but not with ours. I've tried pulling on every way I can but it seems firmly attached at the top somehow. In your DIY on the climate control replacement you have a pic of it out, were there any other screws or clips besides the two screw on the bottom? Thanks for the help man!

    I think you have to put your hands in the back and push it out to remove it. Often times the previous owner spilled soda or juice on the console and it leaked in there and is sticky or stuck
