Hey. That is usually used for the rear fog light. You can find out which wire from the trunk harness goes to the bulb, take it out, run a new wire from the brake light positive wire and it should work.

    This is the one.
I took the seat out to do it. You have to take out all the plugs that go into the main harness.
This plugs into the seat belt tensioner.
The part where it plus in......there is a lock tab on that plug. You lift it straight up with a small flat head. The tab is hidden unless you know what to look for.
It's not something you can force out of the tensioner like some of the other plugs. It's like the side air bags in the door panel.
After time.....corrosion builds up because the wire was designed too small from the factory. The corrosion makes more resistance and throws the light. The bass was a patch that uses a bigger wire. I figured I'd just replace this one when it caused problems. not a fan of black tape.

What parts did you need besides the transmission itself.
I'm going to do this at some point
    I was thinking

    Steering wheel
    Paddles
    Drive shaft
    Ecu flash
    6 speed
    Clutch pedals
    Slave cylinder
    Clutch and flywheel

Hey, the depo tail lights are fine. You just need to remove 3 nuts for the outer parts and put in the new ones. For the trunk lights you have to pop out the liner on the trunk and one nut is holding it onto the frame. There should be a diy on khoalty or bimmian
