    Hey Matt,

Just went over your old gutted stock muffler thread. Too bad you never completed it I would be very interested to see the outcome.

Anyway, I realize it's been a couple of years since you went through that project, but I had a few questions that would help a lot if you can give me a hint or two.

Based on the pictures posted, I can tell that the piping going directly to the two outer tips are perforated. However, I can't tell if the piping going to the two inner tips is perforated as well, I assume maybe just on the opposite side the camera didn't catch.

Another questions, what about the piping going from the flanges into the middle section of the muffler where it's then split into the left and right baffles? Is that piping perforated? I can tell it's perforated when it's inside the middle casing, but the pictures show it's not perforated when it's going from the flange to the middle section. Is it?

Lastly, any advice on where to initiate the cut if I wanted to gut the first section right by the flanges so that it's the easiest to revert?

    Thanks again for any advice.

    Michael Yu
