    Hi jeff,
I'm thinking about purchasing the dynavin d99 but the only the stopping me is that I'm not sure if I'll be able to install it without losing my A/C controls. The reason I'm saying this is because I have the knob operated A/C controls as opposed to the button operated one with the screen. Do you know if my A/C setup would work with the relocation kit and would it be able to function properly (by that I mean, would it be in the way since the knobs stick out more than the buttons). Any help you would be able to provide will be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Jeff,
I'm interested in your Dynavin kit with Backup Camera for my 2001 BMW X5. I currently have an aftermarket radio installed in my X. I want to purchase your kit this week. I just wanted to know since I currently dont have steering wheel controls will I be able to get them back? Can you please email me pricing at musov5@yahoo.com.

Hi Jeff, I got an Android D99 for my M3 and it can't read a 64GB SadnDisk card I put in the right slot. Funny thing is the previous unit was reading it but it had some faults so I sent it back and they said they sent me a completely new unit. However this one won't read it. And I also noticed the previous unit had the "Dynavin" logo on it and this one didn't. Could they possibly send me an older unit (like d90 or d95) but with the same firmware. I mean how can I tell it's the D99?

Jeff - I am interested in a D99. I have a 2001 325i with Business CD (No nav, no upgraded stereo). I would like to add the backup camera as well. However, I am not handy in installing stuff.

    a. Is this something I can do myself. if so, do you have an installation guide and diagrams? Also, what tools would I need and how long would it take?
    b. Do I have to install anything in the trunk and draw wires through cabin? Or is everything self enclosed?
    c. Do I need to install a separate mic for hands free bluetooth feature?
    d. Do you have a recommended installer in New Jersey / New York area? That would be much appreciated.

Also, I have read your posts on D99 WinCE and Android. I do have an iPhone but not want to pay extra to AT&T for hot spot. if I get 3rd party Nav like Navigon etc, can I use Android system without internet? And Can I use Pandora on my iPhone and use bluetooth / iPod Cable to stream to the unit?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Yes, if your v5 was purchased after April of last year there is a setting to lower the output of the head unit. Select AUX as the source and hold down 9 on the remote to access the radio settings menu, set AMP to ON (or "common on newer units) and radio region to USA. If you don't have the amp setting contact your dealer for the firmware update.

Hi Jeff, I bought a V5 for my E46 M3 and have 2 questions. 1. Is there a way to manually adjust the AM stations? I like to listen to 850AM and can only get 846AM and 855AM. 2. Is there a way to make the radio volume more useable? I can only use volume 3 or 4, and 5+ is way too loud. Thanks!

Hi Jeff, I bought a V4 from you a while ago now (UK), no problems with it, still going strong. Any ideas of software updates available? i.e. I'd really like to have a phone conversation with the ability to still view the map in Nav mode? That's it, glad to see you are still on here :)
