I was thinking about doing the rejuvinating oil out in the sun but am worried that direct sunlight, with oily stuff on the seat, will discolor them... not sure if that would be a legit concern or not... I emailed greg@detailedimagine asking for advise... might use the oil, wrap them in a huge trash bag (close it up as air tight as possible) and then sit them outside... would be in the sun but not taking the rays directly. Would certainly get real hot in there and open the pores of the leather up. Have you ever used that stuff personally? Many say that it works wonders.
While I have the seats sitting in my apt, i have no idea what they look like.. still wrapped up in bubble wrap, cardboard, etc.
Now gotta clean them up with leatherique and get them looking super sexy. Just ordered the cleaner. Should arrive by Friday and will put on the rejuvinator as soon as it arrives... will put a trash bag over them and let the oil sit for 48 hours... will then use prestine clean sunday, will have them looking all sexy, and then will install in the car :)
