Get a ported box, i had a sealed box in my boot for a bit, and it was pretty crap, once i go the ported sub box its pree good.

I changed the factory head unit, but i got a flip out screen lol, plus i dont knwo how to hook up RCAs with a factory unit. So i went n got a new unit.

lol, idk why man, but it wont pop up when u wright something on my wall!... but anyway, yes, you do notice a difference, If you have one sub, you could mount it so it goes through the hole. I allways siad if i had one sub, id mount it in the rear arm rest ;)

idk man, could be the box, ive got a ported sub box twin 12 inch. I took em out one time ad put a mates single 12 inch 600 watt clarion sub, could barely feel it. If i want to get one 15 inch, duno what brand. but i want to try what one 15 sounds like.

yer man, im running two 12 inch cadience subs, 350 watts each sub, powered by a 1000 watt cadience amp. No problems at all getting the bass through, they hit that hard that ive nocked my numberplate cover off at a little show i was at. I nocked the rear ski pass shelf out aaswell, didnt make that much of a difference, but either way, you can deffinately hear the bass no problems. What are you trying to run in your car?
