I have a 2001 330ci and have to replace the rear bumper cover due to accident. Any suggestions for improving the rear appearance while I am at it? Should I just replace the stock bumper cover or is a better alternative available? I don't mind spending a few bucks. You guys know how it is. Thanks much.

Pleasure to be on board with E46 Fanatics. I looked for a 330 for a couple of years. Saw a lot of them in side dealer lots but avoided the temptation. Wanted a more established reputable dealer or a private sale. This 330ci shows up at a big dealer in town and I go to look at it because the price is right....9999. It was an auto....and it was a coupe....I was thinking standard and sedan ....but the thing was just so mint. I am really retentive about my vehicles (Harley SuperGlide) but I finally met my match with this coupe. Guys and Gals...the thing is so clean inside and out and under too. I don't see how it ever saw a winter in New England and I really don't get how it could be in such shape. The rubber, the fittings ...all those things that will rust...even with the best care....there simply isn't any sign of wear except for a couple of dings here and there it looks new. I said, "Thank you God", and bought it for 9 grand and my 98 Honda Accord (142000 miles and fading fast). Now I got to get a Benley manual and a Peake Reader and I'll be set. I haven't worked on my car for a while (never had a car to a mechanic prior to my 45th birthday) but I will get back into it for this. I just love driving this car. More than the bike. And that is a first. The six is just a creamer. Man they have the power and torque just everywhere it needs to be. I got a few bugs to iron out with the "Service Engine Soon" light but it is still under warranty. So I am psyched and glad to be a part of this information stream. And your cars inspire me. The photos of your cars show real taste and respect for the marque. I'm going to learn a lot from this group.
