Thanks - I have all 3 pads - is that what you mean by "bottom cover"? I am going to have the unit laminated in carbon... I am also having all 3 pads re-done is alcantara (slightly different look to the OEM alcantara) The Alcantra I am using is like a perforated look. It is so it will all match with my interior re-trim.

M3 is all leather in the centre part and CSL is plastic - so it's a slighly different set-up...

There is an Oem back cover which holds the rear console in place. Perhaps u don't have that piece? I'll try to take a pic of it for later today.

Ahh - that would be really great if you could show me how yours fits.. Because I am doing the carbon lamination - I want to make sure it will fit before I spend the money to have it laminated -so any pics you san send and details (such as the back OEM cover) will really help. if you have stock aluminum carrier, yes.. use that with you v1 vcsl bumper.

I bought a vcsl V1 that doesn't have the carrier embedded, do I use my stock aluminium carrier?
