hey my names Daniel, im from melbourne. I was reading youre posts about the subframe damage. i know it was a while ago, but just wondering if you could help me out? I own a 99 323ci in manual.

i just found out i have the sub frame problem. BMW said they'll pay for parts which are 2gz, but only if i repair through them and pay for labour which is 3gz. i have a very minor crack, just starting on the left subframe mount. I would like to threaten legal action as 3gz is ridiculous to be paying. Just wondering what it costs to get a couple of letters sent?

I have 19z sitting at home, springs and a full sound system which i cant install because of this problem! its really annoying. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Daniel
