Maybe you got really really old stock and the glue is all dried up?

OK--disregard the last message. I called Harboresales and this apparently is the same product you used and it does, in fact, have adhesive under the paper backing. But I am having a helluva time getting the adhesive and the paper to separate in a clean fashion. I'd be grateful for and suggestions.
