Guys, how do you store your detailing supplies? I am in WI, so temperatures range from 0F to 80F. I don't have a heated garage. Would you say it is safe to store them in your garage or would you rather keep everything inside?
I've thought about it before, but mine stay out in the garage inside a cabinet all year. It may impact the chemicals, but I don't really want to bring them all inside. I don't think it can make a tremendous difference. I'm in the same boat though -temps from 0-100.
Anything that I have in a can or bottle that can not expand if it freezes I bring inside. I know Ive seen some of my stuff separate over winter, but a few good shakes in the spring and it seems all is well.
Products will last longer if you can keep them around room temperature. If you can avoid temperature near freezing and very hot (above 80) it will prolong the life of the products. I think during the winter you will have to bring them inside.
I keep everything in the laundry room's closet but thought maybe I could move some things to garage. I guess I am going to keep everything where it is. Thank you!
I have a clear plastic box for most of my stuff and all of it stays indoors
