I purchase 18" Beyern Mesh (Silver) wheels and I don't know what PSI to use. The 18" obviously isn't on the specs inside the door; nor is the tire size really. 265/35/18 in rear and 235/40/18 in front. I have an 01 e46 coupe..
Run same pressure that's in the door for a staggered setup. If you aren't out for a lot of handling then I'd put a few extra lbs in each from what the door says.
Well I just called the place I got the tires/wheels (discount tire direct) & he told me he had a program that took the specs like the cars, wheels, the tires, load, fact that they're xl's and all that and it say what to put. He said 36 in front & 34 in rear. He said "ya that's weird but that what it says and I've never seen it be off in the yrs I've been here and I trust it"..
That's not what's on the door for any size but I just filled them up to that unless someone says otherwise..
I generally recommend following what's on the door jamb. You can always adjust them up or down (within reason) according to your preferences though.
