I noticed this afternoon doing my own search that there are quite a few M3s in the sub 40k segment now, I think that's too cheap. The E36 M3s keep their value very well, pristine examples are still sitting around the late 20s to early 30ks. Quite incredible actually.
If something seems to good to be true, it usually is. If the car has been hanging around for a long time, then there's a reason why it hasn't sold yet. Even still, definitely worth checking out cos it is cheap! Good luck!

Pretty sure i saw this on graysonline a few months ago sold for around 30-35 either way still cheap remember the seats and the number plates well that's if am right.
Try the mobile number. Beware there are many many MANY fakes on Carsales. I experienced at least 3 a week when searching for my car. Speaking to the owner at least gets you past that stage.
Just want to clear the 18' wheel & cloth insert seat thing up. From MY04 you could still have the 18' wheels and cloth inserts seats as a "delete" options. A lot of motoring journos bagged the M3's ride on the std 19" wheels so BMW offered the 18" inch wheels as NCO.
You can still order cloth insert seats on the current M3 also.
Also not quite sure why having a kid means he has to sell it. Perhaps he hasn't noticed the back seat and the child seat anchor. Suspect there is a lot of WAF in the decision.
Lemon ... anyway... talked to Raj about import e46 m3... did a search and 99% of you guys are against buying one. There are few out there that attract my attention. Avoid or Get PPI for it?
Hmm, it's not bad. Cheap price for its kms, but it's an import so they won't fetch as much as locally sold M3s. How do you know it's an import anyway? Honestly I don't like ads that only have 3 photos. If you're gonna sell a relatively expensive car, at least put up a few more photos. No interior shots. Not a fan of 20" wheels, but I guess it's a show/promo car that's why it has it. Have you considered a manual? My friend recently had to repair his SMG - wasn't cheap.
^ Yeah I've seen this ad before. I think someone commented that it was formally on ebay and was a repairable write-off or something rather.
