bmw e46 vacuum valve to intake jet suck
Ok so I made a purchase online and bought the BMW vacuum valve. I am satisfied with what I paid for the part. I would like to do it myself instead of taking it to a dealership. Has anyone seen any do it yourself videos on installing this part. Any tips and tricks, or anything I should know upon installing. even if there are no videos available can anyone tell me the quickest most safe way how to install. the reason for me replacing this part that's when I had recently brokeit, installing my lower intake boot. I was going to choose to use RTV Glue to seal the pieces together, instead I want to replace. I have tried seeking to find that diagram but it doesn't exactly tell me where I can access to where the other end of the hose goes. I am sure I am NOT the only one who has had this problem.
It connects to the intake manifold- it might be a pain to get in there and remove the old hose.
These threads will give you a better idea of where the hose runs to:
If you're having a tough time accessing the underside of the intake manifold where the hose connects, you could always try release the hose clamp around the old valve and placing the new one into the old hose.
