Shark Injector vs Dinan Software Upgrade

i'm not really fimiliar with the Shark Injector but I have the stage II software upgrade from Dinan. how exactly does the shark injector work and are there any benefits to that over the dinan? also whats the cost? oh yeah lastely do they make a version for the 330?

no it's not out for the 330 yet. So we'll have to wait and see on comparisons for the 330

Does any body know what the diffrence is for the 328. I know that the shark is cheaper. But what is the performance diffrence. By reading there claims they are very similar in performance. Does any one know from experience.

Thanks:dunno:

yeah also, is the Shark comprable to a Dinan Stage 1 or Stage 2?

If dinan did not any gains...and they are realistic about their numbers...i sincerely doubt software from other companies will yield any HP either...if they advertise it as like 5hp+...i will be extremely skeptical.

I think the biggest plus of the shark injector is that you can "un-shark it" before it goes back to the bmw dealer. When you get it back you can shark it again with no additional cost.

Definitely that's a BIG plus... but also, Dinan upgrades are usually done at a BMW Dealer, so they shouldn't overwrite your Dinan upgrade if they performed it...

No no... your theory is very good also! Thanks for your contribution. Plus I'm lucky that my Dealer is a Dinan one, most aren't...

Sharked

I just sharked my 2000 323i and I can tell the difference pulling in 1,2,3. I agree with everyone else that the best piece is being able to restore before heading to the dealer. It only took about 20 mins to upgrade.

The shark would be comparable to a stage 1. The Dinan stage 2 is designed specifically for use with a CAI and while the shark would work with one that's not what it's specifically designed for

So Dinan stage 2 with CAI is better than Shark w/ CAI? Performance-wise?

I dont know about shark,

but dinan's software should be the best choice if money is not a matter to u
