how can I get my plastic moulding looking clean?
well those of you with coupes and painted mouldings suck.

but how bout us with sedans? how do you get your plastic mouldings clean? esspecially after waxing...

I have tried a gum eraser and that works but my mouldings still dont look black and shiny enough.

Try back to black...this stuff is supposed to work...

Yes. The stuff is called "Back to Black" by Mothers(tm). My '02 M3 SMG Cab. isn't even close to needing this yet but I've used "Back to Black" on other vehicles. It works surprisingly well.

There had been a thread on this..back to black supposedly works really well, except that it wears off so you'll have to reapply it, duration, I'm not sure..Give it a shot stephen, can't be too much, and tell me how you like it so I won't waste my money :D

thanks! I will try it out! and hopefully it wont be a waste of my m0n3y

black wax works

so does peanut butter. It gets the white wax off

get em painted thats what i did... wow feels like a new car. lol

but honeslty i hated the wax look so i got them painted and i coulnt have done anything better!

Presns323i 12-11-2003 09:48 PM

i got some trim shiner, but its annoying as hell to apply,
its like an oil so if it touches the paint, you can see it...
the black on black, and others you suggested, does it all do that too?
if not, i'll try it out

and i find it amazing my friends' civic, accord, integra, legend all have painted mouldings, while my bmw doesnt

I use back to black on my sedan every time I wash it. The trim really jumps out when it's clean. I've actually used it on the black window trim, the black plastic cowel under the wipers, and the kidney grille. Any black plastic - it's very easy to use and buff.

Have a go with this http://www.urethanesupply.com/waxblaster.html

Its supposed to work well........it'd better do as i've ordered some

Tire shine or whatever you use to shine your tires is the same sh1t as 'Back to Black', just a different name. Why not a 2 for 1 deal???
