Threw in some race gas tonight to see how the car responds. E46 330i running a Garrett dual ball bearing GT30R turbo.

Man that is just sickening :spit: I'm mad envious. I wish I would of had the balls to try turbo apps. I already had my custom cut Ross pistons made w/ a 11.25/1 compression ratio though....should of told them 8.5/1....I'm going to go hit myself in the balls with a hammer now....I so stupid

You guys so need to release this kit asap, people are going to be crawling over each other to get in on the initial buy. So....when the money starts pouring in for you, as the kits start selling like mad, are you going to sell off your car and buy a porsche or something even more rediculous? :) Just messing with ya, I think the kit will sell well, and your dyno #'s are really awesome

hey kromex....

i know earlier you said you had burned your own chip as far as the tuning goes, but will that be part of the production model, or will there be like a tec that it will use?

Clem 01-14-2004 10:42 AM

mtfour 01-14-2004 11:04 AM

Boost was set to about 9.5psi. Fuel was a mix of 4 gallons of 110 and about 2 gallons of 91 left in the tank so making octane equal to 103.6. I'm starting to see the limits of the stock fuel system. Fuel pump is being maxed out at this level. I'm surprised the stock fuel pump can handle this much power. I'm sure the pump is going to start getting tired soon. Towards the end of the run, A/F starts going lean to 13.2.

Wow...

K-DOG 01-15-2004 07:27 PM

Damn, without race fuel, Im surprised you are not detonating all over the place @ 9+ PSI with a 10:2 comp ratio. Did you crank the boost up just for this run?

vaio76109 01-15-2004 10:40 PM

ill race you as long as you shift @2500rpm :P . What are you running in the 1/4, that what i really wanna know.

MMJ4mil 01-16-2004 12:31 AM

i hate you with a passion kromex

damn man you rock  :str8pimpi

CtrlAltDel 01-16-2004 12:57 AM

sweet lord

Dougs325 01-16-2004 02:43 PM

looks like your boost comes on around 23-2400 RPM. Dude, that is rediculous! I so want a turbo!! :str8pimpi

vaio76109 01-18-2004 12:52 AM

Whats with the dip @4000rpm? Also do you have your stock rear end or a different gear ratio? What gear did u do this run in, 4th(1.00?)?

This is the stock rear end, 4th gear run. If you look at the stock graph of my car there is a dip in the same place as well. With the turbo, it just seems to be more pronounced.

The dip is a result of the dual-stage intake manifold switching over.

vaio76109 01-18-2004 08:03 PM

Have u run in the 1/4 or 1/8 yet?
