My heart goes out to this guy. Reminds me of my accident. If anybody knows the owner give him a hug, I know he needs it. I did too after loosing my baby.

unionjack 03-25-2004 09:38 PM

e-hug to owner. :bawling:

MIV4N 03-25-2004 09:39 PM

Penguin Koolaid 03-25-2004 09:47 PM

How did that happen on a track? What exactly did it hit, and how did his exhaust get filled with grass.... :dunno:

Any way... hope the driver is okay... sucks to see that happen.

xS3x 03-25-2004 09:49 PM

no flat beds?? :dunno:

hopefully insurance will cover it..

budman 03-25-2004 09:56 PM

malakia12 03-25-2004 10:14 PM

Vin330xi 03-25-2004 10:25 PM

Hope the driver is ok because that car is pretty messed up.

bimmerchop 03-25-2004 10:42 PM

:bawling:

cgrizzly888 03-25-2004 10:54 PM

That is horrible. I hope the driver is ok. The car must have flipped, that is why there is dirt in the exhaust pipes.

Presns323i 03-25-2004 10:56 PM

wooooooow, that really sucks. that car is really nice too... i like those wheels.
i find the exhausts filled with dirty kinda funny tho..

Cowboy Bebop 03-25-2004 11:09 PM

looks like he backed into the hay bails... damn, that hurts.

I'm pretty sure that insurance won't cover this. :dunno: I'm taking a wild guess that DSC was completely turned off as well.

As it usually is at track events. Man, that sucks. It was wet out there, though; easier to lose control.

MrMotorwerk 03-25-2004 11:50 PM

Ouch!

My heart felt condolences to the owner of that M3.
It looks really wet out there at Limerock.

Thats the risk we take when we take HPDE classes. Take it easy out there, none of us are out there racing to win anything. Just take it easy and have fun. Stay safe.

So long as it wasn't a timed event insurance should cover it, however, I am sure he will have to fight them.

I always turn off the DSC when I'm at track..they just cut too much powerful when you are exiting the corner..

maybe because my line is a little bit off

323iT 03-26-2004 04:53 AM

reason #1 why i will never track... i suck... i'll do that on the first turn the first day...
autox is good enough for me... until... SCCA start Drift events....*fingers crossed*
