2004 French Grand Prix

Hope Montoya can put up a good show this time around. Ralf won't be racing because he says he wants to recover fully from his accident.

I think F1.com was talking about that Jacques Villeneuve is in talks with Williams to run sometime during the middle of the season. One of the items discusses was that he may run for Ralf during the French GP. Last time Ralf got hurt, their test driver drove and he did pretty damn good. The last thing I saw about Ralf though, was that he only decided to skip testing and was going to decide before the race if he would be driving at the French GP. Anyone see anything different? I couldn't blame him for not driving though. I saw him when he was spinning and I saw the aftermath of the crash from our seats. Couldn't see the impact though.

Marc Gene did some ********* practice in Jerez testing along with some setup testing. He's the current suspected replacement for Ralf at the French Grand Prix.

Well, looks like Gene will have the car for a while. With Ralf having two fractures in his back I guess the test drivers will get some race time.
