Thanks!

what's your definition of high mileage and how much is your friend willing to spend?

9-12k range
100k+ miles is high mileage (although to most on the board it seems like 60k+ miles is high mileage :yikes: )

YGPMs.

I don't think he would go above the price range UNLESS it was super duper wooper clean and local :)

No harm, no foul....as my Dad always said, "It can't hurt to ask...the worst they can say is 'No'"

Good luck in the hunt...

MY CAR

2001 330ci .... 47,500miles for $24,500, not sure if thats enough mileage.

bmwsmurf 07-09-2004 01:40 PM

That's way out of his price range.

Are you selling straight out or looking for trades as well?

I saw your post. That is a sweet car.

Wow, 9k for an E46? That will be tough...I'd rather have a lower mileage E36 vs. an abused E46, but that's just my opinion. Good luck.

beanybmw 07-09-2004 09:42 PM

99 323 with high miles would fit the 9k-12k range.

I know some people don't like high mileage cars. High mileage doesn't necessarily mean abused.

my friend recently purchased a 99 323i w/ only 33k miles.. perfect condition. paid 11,800 including taxes, and everything.

but.. the car had a salvage title due to theft recovery and a minor accident that was repaired nicely.

i'm sure you'll find a car.. check out ebay though.. and wait for a no reserve auction on a high mileage 323i.

good luck

Hey...I've got a 99 323i with 126K. Has an auto is orient blue. Just had the major service doine 6K ago with a tranny flush. I have only ever used Redline products since I bought it a couple of years ago. The car is in awesome condition. Nothing wrong with it what-so-ever. It also has the Bilstein PSS9 system and M3 wheels. With everything I want 15K, but would take the suspension and wheel and take off and would sell for $13K. I can get pics if your friend is interested.

Oh yeah, has new brakes including racing pads and Dinan trans and engine chips
