What would be left to do after....

lets say you get these mods:

dropped
chip
TB
intake
exhaust

to make the car go faster, not looks or handling, what would there be left to do to the 2001 330ci besides supercharger, turbo, cat, or cams?:dunno:

here you go

cams , flywheel, clutch?, headers back exhaust.. then you get into the motor.. boring rods etc...

Go on a diet

Just kidding, but a simple way to go faster would be to lighten up the car bay a few hundred pounds, no?

What Val said....lighten up the car...

Get lightweight wheels....SSR GT1's are only 19lbs.
Pitch the spare tire and whatever else you're hauling around that you do not need.

is that for 18 or 19"?

Bore out the cylinders, cam shafts, cam gears, valves, piston rods, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition unit, lighten the car (racing seats, remove dampening material, carbon fiber body panels, etc.)

And finally, if you want a fast car, you need brakes that can handle the type of speed you want. So upgrade the brakes as well. Cross drilled or slotted.

Don't think GT1s come in 19" so I would assume 18". From personal experience I say they are really really light.

I have heard a rule of thumb at least on American cars is losing 100 pounds is equal to adding 10 hp's Don't know how this applies to Kraut cars.

putting in a differential (if your car is stick) will put more torque to the wheels and speed you up... Dinan makes a 3.15 diff that is pretty cool.
