Anyone else wanna get BMW to USA import the E87 1 series? :hi:

My mom has a 1 serie. But we live in Europa.

How do you like it?

It's a nice car. It has a good handling and the motor is good. It isn't very quick (150hp and 8.5 seconds for a 0-60mph).

What about the 130i?

8.5 isnt bad for a non-sports car? 130i is probably faster.

Yeah! The 130I is a way faster! It has 265hp and it runs @ 6 seconds for a 0-60mph. The speed limit is limited at 155mph. Here in Europa, the 1 serie is considered like a good car, but too much expensive.

Just go to Mexico. my cousin has one and goes to school @ Texas

He imported a 130I?

Well its not imported beacause he has Mexican plates and registration. If you someone there you can do the same. His family has residence in Monterey, MX.

No not yet but I really like the looks of it.

Yeah! The 120d has nice accelerations. I have trying a 116I (bad....), a 118d with 140hp (damn, you can do drifts whitout problem because of the high torque...) and a 120d (very nice. Accelerations were like my previous E39 528I). I hope I will try a 130I one day!
