Do you think the dealers will warranty your wheels if this thing misjudges it and rips your alloys apart when it hits the curb???

I doubt it
If you think about it, it would be impossible for them to know whether the wheel was damaged during an auto park or if it happened during a manual one.
What would stop you from messing up your wheels when you were parking manually, going into the dealership and blaming it on the auto park even if you weren't using it.
