Clay Lube

I recently threw away my clay bar since it fell on the floor but have 2 bottles of clay lube left. If I use a new clay bar will these lubes work as well? I think they're pretty much all the same but dont want to risk messing something up. My friend has an extra pinnacle clay bar and the box says to use clay only with an approved lubricant. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Yup... it should work. I've done the same thing many times. :)

What you have will work perfectly fine. Another alternative is a water / shampoo mix in a spray bottle. As long as you are providing lubrication for the clay to work, you'll be fine.

Let us know if you have any other questions Thinktank ;)

George,

So basically, when we don't have lube in our hands, any "pH balanced" product + water (50:50 mixture) will work as a clay lube ?
What product should we use for stuff that wasn't removed from claying? Klasse AIO or P21S Paint cleanser?

In the case of using soap and water mixture, I would suggest either keeping a mist bottle of water and a microfiber handy to clean up left over product, or do a re-wash on the entire vehicle after claying.

Hope that helps, sorry I did not specify that in my last post.
