Does the E90 have an Ibus?

Does anyone know if the E90 (or the new 5, or 7, for that matter) uses an Ibus? I believe that the 745 came out with some sort of fiber-optic bus system first, but I've been out of the loop for a while and remember that they had a ton of issues with the earliest models. I want to work on an Ibus programming project, but don't want to waste the time if I can't carry it forward. Thanks.

... and what about the Z4? I like the Z4 M Roadster and Z4 M Coup A LOT. Thanks.

E90's (current 5, 6 and 7 Series too) uses MOST bus protocol (fiber optics):

I tried searching over there but got no result, and the guys there don't seem to know much more than what colors are available as options.
