My Little Home Theater

This is what I have so far, I am trying to find a location to build a house so I can build my own real theater but this will do for now. I think with everything so far I am at about $13,000 give or take. I think its all worth it. :)

Not the best pictures, I seem to have a tough time with getting them to turn out.

dayam that's a nice setup. i just finished with my own as well. nothing like yours tho. did u find the power conditioner making that much of a difference? i'm debating if i should purchase one. i just have a surge protector for now. what kind of speakers are those? they look powerful.

TWISM 04-07-2006 12:19 AM

I dont know if the power center made much of a difference but its a good feeling its there.

The speakers are called Onix Rockets you can check them out at www.av123.com

Long live Bigfoot!:)

James330I 04-07-2006 07:46 AM

awesome setup.

I hear nothing but good thigns about the onix rockets.

The emotiva components are supposed to be very good as well. How do you like them? I ended up with a pioneer elite receiver coupled with an earthquake amp.

Simon2150 04-07-2006 08:16 AM

is that the mitsubishi lcd?

Mike325i 04-07-2006 08:49 AM

Looks like a great set up, those rockets have a beautiful finish. Never heard of the pre/pro or amp, but they look to be good. Just a thought, but have you ever concidered angling the center up a little to compensate for the low placement?

najeroni 04-07-2006 11:15 AM

i didn't read the links to those power cleaners and stuff, but how do they help?

blownE30M3 04-07-2006 06:23 PM

actually in walls sound worse then its regular version. also really ballers have acoustically treated rooms, something that acutally makes a bigger difference then and mucho $$ gear does
