2000 323i double din install pics

ZR3 laser jammer controls. Center light is for status, side lights are for front/rear notification. The speaker is behind the whole. The push button mutes both V1 and the laser jammers

Using a Valentine1 Concealed display, the circuit board was cut short to fit. ca1242 then reconnected the open circuit traces with wires to keep the mute function and communication while I dremmeled out the cluster. Note that you can't do this with an auto/smg car :)

The actual V1 detector is positioned next to the rear view mirror w/ the wires run behind all the pannels. With the concealed display plugged in the V1's face is blank to avoid any attraction.

Great work...all of that looks vaguely familiar ;). I like the use of metal strapping to secure the radio. I used MDF which was a major PIA.

Did you get the Eclipse iPod adaptor yet? Not sure if its my iPod but its sooooo slow.

The IPC-106 or whatever they have on their site. But the control charts says it will work with a 5495. Not sure how good.

How do you like the HDD? I've heard a lot of moaning and groaning about it, at least when you record music.
