Roll Call: E46 SEDAN owners with LED Tail Lights Installed!
 

This is a roll call to see who all here actually has LED rear turn signals installed on their SEDANS. There have been several of us who have gone with a few different versions available on ebay and possibly other sources.

Please state the following information:

• What type of LEDS you bought. The clear/red all LED version or the red/clear/red version with only the red being LED.
• What trunk light option did you go with?
• Any dash "light out" indicators?
• Where (vendor or ebay seller) did you get them from and how much did they cost?
• General comments and pics!

My LEDS-
Eagle Eye brand (red/clear all LED).
I went with the DEPO clear/red trunk light but I'm going to get them painted to match better like fanatic thesethoughtsru did!
I had NO problems with dash lights or any other fitment issues.
I bought mine from ebay seller autohobbyasia who shipped them from Hong Kong to my house in about a week!
So far I love my lights and have had no issues or regrets!:thumbsup:

I've got the clear/red all LED eagle eyes tails
w/r oem clear trunk lights custom painted to look like type 1 coupe lights
no dash light out indicators
got them from ebay from seller autohobbyasia from hong kong
comments: i looooooooooooooooooove LEDs :D

Imola- where are you getting your trunk lights painted? I want mine to turn out as nicely as thesethoughtsru, but am not really up to paying $140

i am looking to get those installed on my sedan but i just cant find anywhere that has them in stock!

Yeah, I would guess that there are less than 20 of us nationwide??? Maybe not even that many. They usually are only on ebay every now and then.

I don't know where I'm getting them painted. I'm probably going to check out a few body shops local and see if any of them are up to it. Good luck to you!

Imola - I just bought the ones from the same guy you got yours. How long did it take for them to arrive and who delivered them? I can't wait!

it was shipped USPS for me and i paid for express mail so it for me they shipped monday from hong kong and arrived wednesday. good luck!

What is the cost of these lights?

I paid 289 for the tails and 60 for the trunks.

sigh* i couldnt resist! I bought these too after my bulb indicators showed up again and bulb may have blown AGAIN! :hmm:
