My twist on a home-made protein bar (recipe)...
here is my little twist on the home-made protein bars. they're currently in the freezer so i will let you know how they turn out. :) i think it will make a good breakfast bar. i added some banana to the mix.
Bender's Ultimate Breakfast Oatmeal-Banana Protein Bar :D
3 cups Quaker Oatmeal
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Skim Milk
8 TBSP Natural Peanut Butter
2 scoops (42g protein) PVL Chocolate Mousse Whey Protein
Mix Oatmeal with water until its thick, like molasses consistency. Add Oatmeal/Water mix to large bowl. Mix in Natural Peanut Butter with Skim Milk to keep the consistency. Microwave a Banana and crush it up. Add Banana to the mix. Next, add 2 scoops of Whey protein.
Blend together and then spread onto a cookie sheet. Place in freezer for 12-24 hours. Cut the hardened mixture into 8 pieces and enjoy.
8 BARS TOTAL

2g Saturated Fat
give it a try and see how they taste!!! :)
