P21s gel is super-deluxe.

I keep a good coat of wax on my wheels and can usually get away with just soapy water....

prcentauri 05-05-2002 11:37 AM

i think armoral wheel cleaner is fine. so you guys wax your wheels too?

vinnymac 05-05-2002 12:22 PM

Simple Green works well for me...

of course, I'm running Axxis Dustless pads so I hardly ever wash my wheels...

P21S gel

Rod 05-05-2002 12:44 PM

I've tried the P21s non gel. I wasn't inpressed. Sounds like gel is better. Anyone know where to get it in Atlanta area?

Where's the best place to order P21S?

David328Ci 05-05-2002 03:04 PM

P21s gel or Meguiar's Hot Rims

I switched to the latter after Jab introduced it to me. Hot rims work as well as p21s I'd say and is cheaper.

I like Mother's wheel mist. I just spray it on, let it sit for about 2 minutes, and spray it off w/ a hose. I don't even touch to wheels and they come out sweet!

Anyone try BMW wheel cleaner? I heard it is same as P21s:dunno: If it isn't gel forget it.

E46_Angemon 05-05-2002 06:08 PM

I wax my rims. It actually helps because it keeps the dirt away so it makes it easier to clean as well....

prcentauri 05-05-2002 07:13 PM

Angemon - any wax on the wheels will do?

bimmerchop 05-05-2002 07:59 PM

I have Meguiar's gold glass(regular car wax) I can put that on my wheels? I've been using some crappy black magic wheel cleaner that my sister bought for her car....Doesn't work at all, I still gotta sit there and scrub.

xmiashix 05-05-2002 09:20 PM

i use wax also.. i think its the best idea.. i use armoral hard coat wax.. it keeps them nice and clean..:D

P21S for the wheels
I'm going to run Hawk HPS pads so I'll give a review on those pads afterward.

You can practically wax your wheels with almost any wax :). Double coat it too if you want to make them last longer.
