Angel Eye Remote Wire
 

I'm trying to get the relay wire through the firewall to install Angel Eye remote. Where should I stick the wire through? The only two hole I see is in the picture. These hole are on the passenger side next to the ECU box.

your ecu box is on the drivers side, i wired mine through my drivers side hole, there's a plastic part and then i tapped into my footwell light.

right...driver side...my mistake.

of those two hole which is the correct one?

The bottom looks like the most logical but has a hard piece of plastic covering it. I tried to pop it open with a screwdriver but it seems pretty solid.

open the panel under your steering wheel. then you'll know which hole to choose.

So it not either of those holes in the pic?

I went through the passenger side - much less stuff on that side to deal with. You've got the big open hole under the hood, and you've got tons of room on the other side once you remove the glove box.

clean install kris. if i can ever get over the stigmata of opening up a perfectly good set of non-leaking head lamps and later cooking them again, ill follow your pics. nice job!

Passenger's side is easier, but if you want to go on the driver's side, first go into the ECU box. There is an open space between the ECU box and the inside of the car, so it is really easy to go in that way.

Thanks! Amazing what $4 in wire loom and a few small zip-ties can do to clean everything up. I actually ran the wiring for my LeatherZ Gauge Kit through the same loom. There's now a "T" just in front of the driver's side shock tower where the oil pressure/temp sensor wires split off and go down to the block.

The wire loom makes it look oem....good job.

I think I will pick some up too. Thanks for the inspiration.

Forgot to update the thread but I was able to find the hole in the ECU box by opening the driver side panel as you suggested.

I finished the install yesterday. Awesome feature. I had my angel eyes for almost too year but was too lazy to connect the remote wire. I didn't know what I was missing. Such a simple feature has a lot of cool and useful asthetics (finding your car at night). Glad I did it.

I had to go through the driver side since my kit was already pre-wired for the driver side.

This side was also really convienent for me since I was also putting in the Angel Eye switch which had to go in from this side. Killed two bird with one stone.

I like it better on this side also because it the ECU box covers my wire from sight.

We usually find it easier to run it through the empty compartment on the passenger side and into the driver's footwell. Either way works though!
