Radiator light came on about 10 minutes ago........

I just got done with work and was leaving and the radiator light came on for about a minute. I just had the fluids topped off at my service appointment last Thursday.:banghead: After the car cools down a bit I'm going to check the level and see what it is at.

I'm a little worried because the first problem I had with the car(bought it used) was a crack in something near the radiator that leaked fluid slowly. I could see dried fluid on parts of the engine. They replaced the part and all has been fine til now. The light went off and I didnt notice the temp guage go up at all, but I dont really trust it since it never did anything but stay dead center when I had the first problem.

Well my question is if radiator fluid is one of those things you have to top off occasionally (like some have to do with oil) and about how much I should expect to lose over a period of time. What radiator fluid do you guys use?:dunno:

SO you havnt had to fu{K with the radiator fluid at all? When was the last time you checked it? I'm trying to get an idea of time vs loss of fluid.

I'm close to 30k miles and I've probably added a total of no more than a quart to the radiator. And about 1500 miles of that were accumulated at the race track.

I probably will. I need to make sure I get everything covered while I can. I have about 1750 miles of warranty coverage left before I have to deal with a third party warranty.
