i like that they are leds who don't burn out.. and they don't have ballasts, and are easier to install... in fact, everything is better than the "standard angel eyes"... BUT, i still like the look of the predator chromium better and that's all that matters for me ;)

Bimm325i 03-31-2008 01:50 PM

Yea the idea is cool with led, just looks odd with the leds in

i liked my chromium for my e46

ATLZHP6M 03-31-2008 01:51 PM

These might be the solution I have been waiting for.

I have the Vorsteiner vented hood and I have gone thru three sets of ballasts and finally some of my rings burned out.

Even though I installed rain covers, water still finds its way in and it was getting to the ballasts no matter where I installed them.:tsk:

eurotekm3 03-31-2008 01:52 PM

how much ?

umnitza 03-31-2008 01:55 PM

They are on the site, this is a photos thread.
So we do not want to change it to a for sale ad.

Let's get some photos here.
I have some more I'll post later today.

Here's a recommendation for those of you who's initial reaction is "hmmm, no thanks".

Keep looking at them for a few hours, don't immediately post. Look at them again. They do "grow" on most people that have seen them but the initial is "SHOCK" don't like them.

er1c 03-31-2008 02:03 PM

Can I get these in red?

umnitza 03-31-2008 02:05 PM

Red is going to be a "group buy" for version 2. We have many versions planned, this is the first.

Kind of like the 325i Sedan E90. Then BMW released the 330, 335, and M3:)
This is a good, low priced solution. And it's going to last longer than anything.

But, let's focus on photos and videos:)

dumkopf 03-31-2008 02:10 PM

Date we can expect to see the colored versions roughly?

initialandrew 03-31-2008 02:12 PM

I like the way they look in photos...but I would have to see them in person to know if I truely like them.

umnitza 03-31-2008 02:16 PM

I don't think in real life you will like them initially. Not one person initially has liked them.

But as many that drop into our shop regularly have said, they have grown on a few of them. So much so, that they are now flying out of here as fast as the Chromiums.

NorthJersey 3er 03-31-2008 02:17 PM

hmmm, no thanks...lol jk hows the install, similar to the chromiums?

umnitza 03-31-2008 02:21 PM

It's easier.

BMWDEMON 03-31-2008 02:23 PM

hmmm, I like em but I need to see them when Chris gets them and decide then if I will switch.

eurotekm3 03-31-2008 02:44 PM

kinda "audiish" ?

ice330ci05 03-31-2008 03:13 PM

looks good, is there a facelift coupe version? and when will the colored version come out?

Kmoy2002 03-31-2008 03:14 PM

I like the idea that they won't burn out. It'll have to grow on me a bit

Will be out soon, but not before summer.

That was the original concept, yes. the "other" guys can't tell you what their "concept" was, they had none. They just bought a product and sold it. Cool, but I prefer knowing and and dealing as the innovator:)

I disagree. In the 8 months of tests that we've had so far, not one failure and yes, we even have the original 2 prototypes that were built at over $500 a piece.
