This DIY is for those that are not willing to pay for a bearing tool. If anyone is interested I will post the parts required and the dimensions, but from the photos it should be clear.

Nice! I hope no one minds but I PDFed the pages just in case the host goes down we have a local copy. I also added the link to the DIY collection.

How difficult? and how did you compress them?
If you don't mind, could you add little bit of detail?

If you are a competent mechanical person it just takes time. The difficulty is taking your time so you do not damage the axel or hub. I will add a write up later today or tomorrow morning. I also have a new bearing, hub nut, and snap ring for sale.

As does my 2003 320d

I think it seems to be the 330/M3 that use a 36mm
